Most swimmers are happy to learn a few basic strokes and consider themselves set. Sam on the other hand was determined to be the fastest human that ever touched water. “Phelps who” Parante would say. Everyday she woke up early and trained until she could barely move.

“Its just hard to even find the energy to try when you know hundreds, heck, maybe thousands of fish out there will always be able to swim faster than you.” Sam lamented.

Once again another spectacular athlete has been lost. Her happiness was without question stolen by the thief of joy; also known as comparison. I don’t know why they do it to themselves but it isn’t going to be easy to get this “fish” back in water.
