PHOENIX – Parts of a terminal at Phoenix’s Sky Harbor International Airport were briefly closed Wednesday so police could investigate a suspicious item. Said item has yet to be release to the general public.
The Terminal 4 A & D Security Checkpoints are currently closed. Passengers should use the B & C Checkpoints. More details to come.

Security checkpoints A and D as well as ticket counters for American Airlines and Southwest Airlines were briefly closed to allow police to investigate. Flights were also delayed briefly delayed due to the closures. The incident has led many passengers to reschedule their upcoming flights out of Phoenix Sky Harbor International.
Travelers are advised to check their flight status with their airline before arriving at the airport.
UPDATE: The said in question was found and safely removed. The item looked suspiciously similar to a venti spiced chai latte from Starbucks. Authorities on the scene have yet to comment.
