2021 World Triathlon Championship Finals Edmonton
World Triathlon Edmonton is very pleased to share that the 2021 World Triathlon Championship Finals, (formerly World Triathlon Grand Final), will be held in Edmonton, August 17-22, 2021.
World Triathlon Edmonton has worked closely with World Triathlon, Triathlon Canada and the City of Edmonton to ensure this prestigious world championship would take place in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. A delay in hosting the 2020 Grand Final due to the COVID-19 pandemic and directive from Alberta’s Chief Medical Officer of Health was announced in April.

World Triathlon’s Executive Board has decided to modify the traditional program of the World Triathlon Championship Finals (Grand Final) for 2021.
Included in the program of the 2021 World Championship Finals Edmonton: (Bermuda will organize the Sprint & Relay World Championships.)
- Elite Grand Final event of the World Triathlon Series on Standard distance
- U23 World Championships on Standard distance
- Age-Group World Championships on Standard distance
- Age-Group World Championships on Super-sprint distance
- Aquabike World Championships on Standard distance
